  Job Summary

Rajratan Global Wire Limited (RGWL) is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Engineer – Indirect Purchase to manage end-to-end indirect procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in a continuous process manufacturing industry and strong skills in vendor management, negotiation, procurement, and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end Indirect Purchase activities.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors.
• Prepare and manage RFQs, quotation comparisons, and price negotiations.
• Process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement.
• Monitor vendor performance, quality, delivery schedules, and commitments.
• Coordinate with Stores, Maintenance, Production, Accounts, and other departments for procurement requirements.
• Maintain accurate Purchase MIS, records, and documentation.
• Support cost reduction and procurement optimization initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential vendors.
• Ensure timely availability of required materials, services, and indirect procurement items.
• Follow company procurement policies and processes.

   Skills & Requirements

• B.E / B.Tech qualification.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement.
• Experience in a Continuous Process Manufacturing Industry is preferred.
• Strong vendor identification, evaluation, and development skills.
• Good knowledge of RFQ, quotation analysis, negotiation, and PO processing.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of purchase documentation and MIS reporting.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple departments.
