📋 Job Summary

Vidhai Birthing Hospital is looking for a responsible and experienced Hospital Pharmacist to manage day-to-day pharmacy operations. The candidate will be responsible for accurate medication dispensing, inventory management, maintaining pharmacy records, and coordinating with doctors and nursing staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately to IPD/OPD patients, maternity cases, and neonates as per prescriptions.
• Verify prescriptions and ensure the correct medicine, dosage, and quantity are dispensed.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and regularly monitor stock levels and availability.
• Check medication expiry dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Prepare and manage pharmacy indents as required.
• Handle proper storage and record-keeping of surgical items, maternity supplies, and critical drugs.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and administrative teams for smooth pharmacy operations.
• Provide clear dosage and medication instructions to patients when required.
• Counsel patients regarding the proper use of prescribed medications.
• Ensure medicines and pharmacy supplies are stored safely and appropriately.
• Report stock shortages, damaged items, and other pharmacy-related issues to the concerned team.

🎓 Eligibility

• D.Pharm / B.Pharm qualification.
• Must be a Registered Pharmacist with the Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council.
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in Hospital / Retail Pharmacy.
• Good knowledge of medicines, dosage, storage, and dispensing procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with doctors, nurses, and hospital staff.
• Immediate or short-notice joiners preferred.

💰 Salary

₹20,000 – ₹50,000 per month, based on experience, skill set, and notice period.
